We know starting something new brings curiosity (and maybe a few jitters). Here’s everything you need to know before flipping into fun.


Do you offer a free trial?

Yes! Your first class is always free. We want your child to feel comfortable and excited before officially enrolling. Trial classes are open to all new students—just sign up to save your spot and come give it a try!

Does my child need prior experience to join?

Not at all! KiCKFLiPS is built on foundational skills, and we welcome beginners as well as kids with experience. Every child works at their own pace—we celebrate progress, not perfection.

What ages do you accept?

KiCKFLiPS classes currently serve kids ages 3 to 12, with options for beginners through next-level athletes. Check out our Class Descriptions for more details on age breakdowns.

P.S.—Have an older athlete?

Our cheer fundamentals class welcomes ages 7–14, and we also offer private lessons and specialty clinics for older students. Reach out to explore options!

How big are the class sizes?

Class sizes are capped at 10 students per group to keep things safe, focused, and fun. This allows your child to get quality coaching and attention in every class.

(Note: Class size limits may vary for specialty classes, workshops, or events.)

What should my child wear to class?

Athletic wear that allows free movement—think leggings or shorts with a comfortable t-shirt or tank. Bare feet for tumbling. Please no jewelry or dangly earrings for safety reasons. Hair should be pulled back and out of the face.

What should we bring to class?

Just bring a water bottle and a positive attitude! All equipment is provided, and we’ll guide students through any special activities planned.

Are parents allowed to stay and watch?

Yes! Parents are welcome to quietly observe classes unless otherwise noted for special events or large scale activities.

Do you offer make-up classes if we miss a session?

Because we value consistency and want every child to have the chance to grow, we believe offering make-up classes is important. However, due to small class sizes and scheduling, make-ups may be offered as space allows and are not guaranteed. Please contact us if you know your child will be absent, and we will do our best to provide available options.

is there a registration fee?

Yes, there is a $25 annual registration fee per family. This helps hold your child’s spot and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes—so we can focus on what matters most: your child’s progress, safety, and joy in class.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer a sibling discount for families enrolling multiple children, as well as a special rate for students currently enrolled in JJ Taekwondo. Just let us know during registration—we’re happy to make it work for your family.

If both discounts apply, the higher discount will be used toward your tuition.

How do I register my child?

In-person registration is available before class time.
